what is the difference in the team losi yellow and black belt?

the black belt is longer and more effecient, however the yellow belt is still good, the black belt also provides smoother acceleration

You have to make sure if you get the black belt, you get the whole kit. It includes a longer tensioner arm and bigger pully. Those are what actually make it more effiecient. It decreases the kink in the drive train.

Yes. The black belt kit will help free up the drive train and let the car come out of the corners better.

you will have to make one, use the spool pads out of your G+ kit and take the diff balls out and tighten the screw down as tight as you can, that is for composite and I don't want to describe how to make a steel one

it will make your car a bunch quicker accelerating, but you will lose some steering off power, or you could buy a one way but that's like 60 bucks

what is the formula for gearing? what is the final drive ratio? i am running the 48 pitch 90t gear? how do i calculate in the motor i am using to get the tight spur gear?

Spur / pinion x 1.83= Final drive

Final drive depends on the track you run on. The best way is to ask the fast guys on your local track.
