That is without a doubt my car, I've got a picture of me standing by it flipping the bird some where.......and yes I have too much money, hence why I am probably going to spring for a lamborghini this summer.

Not to mention pouring tons of money into starting an RC Motor business......motors should debut before todd comes up to race...

Todd, have you or any other guys found a way to limit some of the bumper flexing that seems to be inherant on the XXX-S?

EddieO-You let me drive it then we have a deal!

XXX-S Bill- I use .060" limiter inside to over limit the shock and then unscrew the shock ends to obtain the correct droop. The outside limiter is simply just a spacer put on the outside of the shock to limit uptravel. Droop screws only limit downtravel.

CrazyNut-Yea those are some prototype material that we have been testing. I am still continuing to push to get them out to the public.

wcoyote-Have you tried the extra stiff bumpers we sell.
LOSA4237 Xtra-Rigid Front & Rear Bumper Set 7.00

MDawson-Oh no!!!

Todd,

Thanks for the reply above.

Currently reading your foam setup article in March 04 edition of R/C CAR magazine about "Carpet Cutting with the Losi XXX-S".

Maybe the 'foam crowd' will want to check out your article too.

Bomia-Yes I do.

akrcracer-Yea I don't think that is correct. I think the outer ring is a orange(55). If it was purple we would be traction rolling.

EddieO-Will the Ferrari be at the Snowbirds

J.Filipow-LOL...are you going to the Birds??

No, but it WILL be at the Showdown at Raincity.....!!!!

Ferrari's believe it or not are a pain in the butt to peel out in and when they do, its not a very controllable feeling.....the few times I have done it, it was kinda freaky.

At snowbirds, it can just be like the deposit!

No I haven't. Thanks Todd. I wasn't aware that Losi had some more rigid bumpers out there. I'm relatively new to this TC scene, I was an old Off Road racer, so a lot of this is kind of new to me. The cars I raced were a JRXPRO SE, and YZ10. I still run both of them. Told you I was old, or at least my cars are.
Right now I'm saving up some money to get my XXX-S GP, and have been reading this and the XXX-S forum heavily, as well as checking up the setup guides, trying to find out as much as I can about the car. I appreciate the info you, Team Losi and everyone else on here has put up. Maybe I won't feel so much like a newbie now and have the info to help me get back to my winning ways, this time, in TC.
