Todd, couple of questions....

1. Why doesn't trinity make the Congo Blue Springs anymore? They still make the purple and the yellows.....but no Blues!

2. I saw on the trinity site that ALL trc electric foams would now be coming in 28mm and 26mm would no longer be made, in fact trinity kep the SAME part numbers. I just made my order from Horizon.......ALL of the trcs came in 26mm still, except the plaids! They were all 28mm, so is there any harm in truing them down to 26mm or is the offset going to be different?

Any word if yer gonna make it up to Rain City?

Alex-Wow did not mean to start all the drama. I thought everyone would take that as a compliment of you possibly being on Team Losi. Thats what I meant

EddieO-I am not sure why they quit making them. I have talked to them about bringing them back but I haven't heard much. It will not hurt to cut them down to 26mm. That will be fine. I have not heard anything yet. I will talk to Richard about it again.

Hi todd!

Just a quick question: which programs do you use on the GT-7 for stock and modified motors?

hey todd- your thoughts on skoda vs. alfa.

also in your recent article in R/C Car magazine, "Carpet Cutting with the Losi XXXS" , you can be qouted as saying "I usually run TRC Plaid fronts and TRC Purple rear tires. If you want more rear bite, then a TRC Tan is the ticket. If you want more front grip, try a TRC Marble, and if even more front grip is needed, try a TRC Cyan."

now this makes sense to me, softer tire= more grip... so why is it then that ever since the carpet nats in minnesota last year (or at least this was the first time i noticed it) that everybody is running softer tires in high grip situations?

i notice now that every setup is see from big races has drivers using softer tires... or is this just something that JACO drivers are doing since most all the setups i have seen have been of JACO drivers using double pinks and double pink/ oranges etc...

as i understand it, the softer tires cuts down the sidebite (freeing the car up) and increases forward bite. so are the TRC guys doing this too and i have yet to see a setup, or is it something that is totally tire brand specific.

sorry for the rambling, see ya at the birds!

peter

I'm not Todd, but the Skoda is a Caddy, real smooth, real easy to drive. The Alfa is more aggressive, steers a lot more.

Default Bobby Flack's Trackside Setup Sheet

Hi Bobby,

I just printed out your latest Setup Sheet for Trackside dated 1/12/04 from the Team Losi site

Is any of this setup applicable to a Stock Motor setup on rubber tires?

Many thanks.

To be honest, I haven't run any rubber tires with the car so I really dont know. With softer springs the setup could possibly work but i'm really not sure.

Thanks for the quick reply Bobby,
