Peter are you still running for Yokomo, I thought you at onetime had made that switch.

Todd- there were some of the local racers in my area that were interested in your new shocks on your xxx-s. What pistons and springs do you run on them? Any mounting hardware info needed to make them work?

Todd- Thanks for your advice on the tire issue and the heat this weekend. After that, I had my fastest run of the weekend.

James-That tower is something I made by hand on my drill press. Since that shock is a bit longer you need to have holes that are higher than the current stock ones to get AE springs to work on there.

racenut123-Well the shocks come with 3 hole #58 pistons. I just drilled them out to #56.

briangomez-You will only want a oneway if the track has enough traction on it.

peter-What did not happen? Front row start--put in the wall in the sweeper. Glitching one run when leading a main. Bad set of tires for the 1st two mains. Hate to make excuses but I had some terrible luck.

futureal-LOL...tell me about it.

Jeff-It is a tower that I made. They are tamiya shocks and I have been using AE springs on them

jkerr-Thats awesome! That is my goal by having this thread.

bestea-I will get something posted soon. I ran a few setups this weekend that I got off MF and Spashett. I will post them both. I would say MF had the best TL car there. Spashett's was good as well.

Todd, what performance difference are you seeing with the Tamiya shocks? They must be pretty sweet for you to be running them. I'm going to be at the nats, wondering if I should spend the money. Give us the pros and cons. Thanks for the help!

Mdawson-You are kidding me right.

raceroz-I just feel they give the car a more consistent feel. Plus you can tune on them a bit with the bladders.

HK: If you search for one of my earlier posts on this message thread, there is an answer to your question posted by Todd. Sumary of it is: aluminum screws, remove rear bumper, lighten (or replace) battery holder.

You may also want to investigate moving electronics around to get them all pushed in front of the motor to rebalance the car.
