RCScoringPro- I agree with what slobbatech has said. The new spring has a lot more adjustment range. Try what he said and see how things work out.
futureal-Cool man...CYA out here.
Slobbatech-Not sure....may HRH shootout...that is a fun race to go to. Good luck at the TL race.

Aside from the mag? Certainly... they are not merging by any means. At most, XRC will partner up with rctech to co-sponsor certain things and, more likely, rctech will become the official forum for the magazine. Neither ownership nor anything else in the forum will change. So, fear not.

just about the noisy bk2 tranny- if it's not the diff slipping (which is usually a barking kind of noise under acceleration and after jumps) but sounds real loud all the time, i've found you need to some care aligning the diff covers when you're nipping them up.
despite the diff case halfs being interlocking (to a degree) there is still some movement.. and it only takes a small amount of movement in the wrong direction to cause the mesh on the internal gears to be wrong, which will end up giving you a noisy, binding drive train.

I should stop hijacking Todd's thread now...

hi guys,
Need your opininon. I had problems with the car spinning out previously. All settled now, thanks james, did tweak it and now its going well.
I keep losing out steering at the tight 'off-power' corner just after the longest straight of the track. Just need a bit more steering, its like its hesitating to turn. But on other parts of the track its superb.
Another question, is it normal to have very high tire wear on the fronts and almost none on the rear?
Below is my setup

lozi-I would try lowering your front roll center to the losi low.(not MF low). This will help the front end take more of set entering that turn. You can also try a softer front bar. Also going to #2 camber link of the front since it will help with steering as well. As for the tire wear....yes that is normal since the front tires are doing 80% of the work on the car with a oneway.

Don't worry, it's on my mind.
In fact the guy who is doing this with me is flying out here in 3 weeks so we can sit down and churn through all the paperwork and business stuff over a weekend. No building or permits yet, though.
