hi james.

Sorry to have confused you. In the beginning the car was understeering, from entering corner all the way to mid corner.

I then decided to move the esc in between the motor and servo.
After that change, the car is spinning out instantaneously at almost all corners.

Now i need some help in setup, (with the esc at the front) or should i move it back again to the original position. Hope this clears everything out.

lozi-Did you re-tweak your car when you moved the ESC? I have never had the car want to spin out like that before....are you sure you didn't change something else??

Ozwald-I have never ran foam tires on my elec. TC on asphalt. On my reflex I ran tan rear with Front only purples.

I would try to retweak your car then. Sounds like it is out of tweak from moving the weight around.

popparay-Try raising your rear roll center up .020 and then run the 4R block in the HRC holes. This should help get the car to initiate the turn better and take away some of that double steer. You can also try going to a #56 piston in the front so the front end can roll more.

graphitedust-Sup....CYA at Socal in April. I plan on running down there again ALOT!!!

Todd, I 've got a ? for you. How do you measure droop? I've been reading the setup guide on the team losi site for the xxx-s and one thing does not make sense to me...which is the setting of the droop. How exactly are we supposed to use that droop gauge supplied with the xxx-s? Can you list the exact steps you go through to set the droop and ride height of your cars? Do you follow the exact steps as outlined on the team losi site?

The reason I ask is because it seems to me the numbers are backwards, with the 8 on the gauge being the highest, and 1 being the lowest....but this is backwards, because the setting of 8 on the gauge actually gives me the least amount of actual droop, and the 1 setting gives me the most amount of actual droop!! Why would we want to measure something like that? It doesn't make any sense to me at all. Please help me understand this messed up method of measurement!

thank you very much!

cartmen-I set my ride height first. I then pull up on the chassis as it is sitting at ride height to check uptravel that my car has. I then slide a ride height gauge under the car to see how much travel my car has. If it has to much or to little I will then take the tires off and adjust the droop accordingly. I use the droop gauge to make sure each side is even.

JoeCathey-Here is the setup that I ran

So let's say you have 5mm of ride height, and 3mm of droop. That means that, when you pull up on the chassis as it is sitting at ride height and you slide the gauge under your car, you would get a reading of 8mm, correct?

I ask only so that I'm perfectly clear on how you do it.... and thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions!
