Oh, STLNLST was 3rd in 19-Turn (on the winner's podium) and I was 4th in Sportsman Stock (one off the podium).

STLNLST was 1st place for funniest during the photo shoot.

xxxsbill- I just pray that no one got a picture of what I did so that I can show my face at future races....LOL I'm so tired that I can barely type so I'll have to fill Todd in tomorrow

BTW- The STLNLST is an off road name that I came up with when I first started racing at hobbywarehouse back in the day. Racing with the Francis brothers, Bryce beaver, Brad Nibblelink, MO, The Dasonville brothers, Jimmy Jacobsen, and a few other guys twice a week how could I win. It was like a nationals everytime we raced. Glad my announcing is appreciated. I try to be funny along with bringing the action to the spectators. No one wants a boring history class type race announced. Hopefully we'll see you at speedworld a few times this year. If I read your post correctly from another thread you have quite a long drive to speedworld.

hi todd,

Need a little bit of help. I was strugglin' with understeer on my xxx-s from my previous race so i decided to move the esc (KOPROPO) like what you did with yours.

Tried it out and the rear end can't stop doing 180 on me. The setup is basically standard.

Front:
Arm spacing: back
Droop: 3
Camber link:2
Shock pos.:3
Shock: 40 AE
Spring: Purple
Antiroll bar: second thickest
High roll

Rear:
Arm spacing: center
Droop: 4.5
Camber link: 1
Shock pos.:2
Shock: 40 AE
Spring: Green
Antiroll bar:none
Low roll
Offset rear hub
link on hub:A
camber: -1 (all round)
tires: sorex 40

Running one-way on on-road asphalt, medium size track and stock motor. Will try to post the pic of the car soon.

Todd,

Have you tried the Cyan front / Magenta rear combination for tires on asphalt. If not what combination do you recommend?

Thanks

First off I would try a softer tire. How hot does your track surface usually get? Sorex 36s is about the hottest you would normally run on an electric TC. Where is your car pushing? Entry/middle/exit? I would probably try taking off the front sway bar, going softer on the springs, and maybe mid roll center in the front. Did you tweak your car after you moved the ESC?

hi james,

track temp is around 50 C. Are you suggesting for me to chnage this after i have moved the esc? Sorry didnt get a chance to tweak it yet. It was pushing from entering to mid corner.

I would try changing tires, that should dramatically affect the setup. 36R should be able to handle that track temp. Also, is your car pushing or oversteering? I don't quite understand what your saying.

STLNLST,

By what I just saw on RCRacing.com, you won't be welcome at Stockton until 2014 when you get off probation.

Gotta think of a caption for that picture...More to come (from others) for sure.
