Default LVD

Todd-

I have a hitch in my LVD. Can't figure it out. Pict is the position of where it hitches. I have rebuilt is and instpected it 3 times. Any thought? None of the guys on the JRX-S thread care abuut anything but there batteries and not the real issues that mightbe out there. So time to ask the PRO.

Default Claim To Fame

Todd,

In 1994 who beat you at the Grand Rapids Winterchamps in the 12th scale stock A-main?

I'll never forget that race. It is always my favorite to think about. You've won many more since then. I miss those days, forget dirt haha.

I have had some LCD's feel notchy a bit. If they do I just run them anyways...lol. They break in. If you want to send it back to me so I can check it out thats cool. LMK what you want to do.

Wow.....that was a long time ago. Whatever happened at that race? I can not remember.

Thanks Todd-

I have only had 2 runs on the car. I was missing parts already ( had to steal a Fr Rt Bulkhead from a friend who left town) So i will try to run them in, let you know after wed night racing. Car is rally smooth, guys did a great job, Car hooked right up to the carpet at "The Rain" real nicely with a non box setup and old TKoff 27's. Looking forward to some real time with it. I keep ya posted.

Well.... you were leading and dorked a board. haha. I took the lead and won the overall. I think you finished like 3rd for 4th. I can't remember. I just always know I beat Todd Hodge, haha!

Long time ago, no doubt...... i was 15.... I think you had to be like 17 or something. Good times.

hi todd, just wondering why you guys decided to color all the springs black.. any tips on how i can sort them out in case my springs get mixed up together ?

In making a front spool, do i have to replace the front D-Rings with sandpaper or do i just put the sandpaper on top of the D-rings? also do i take out the trust bearings?

Todd,

For the life of me, I haven't figured an instruction in Step E-02 out.

Why are the dots on the Shock Caps supposed to tell us the shock's orientation from right side (one dot) to left side (two dots)? Seems as though having one dot in the front and two dots at the rear (front-to-back) makes far more sense than knowing side-to-side.

My car is already built with dot orientation from front-to-rear; however, I just gotta know...

Matt Francis gave me a lot of help at Speedworld on Saturday; but, I forgot to ask this minor question.

The springs are black oxided. The reason we did this was to eliminate the inconsistencies with powder coating. Plus it makes the car have a cleaner look.

Keep the diff rings in. You can take out the thrust bearing and just place some washers in the spool.
