the black trc wheels were just something they did for cleveland. they went back to the neon yellow wheels now.

i dont know for sure, but todd said he was using tires from cleveland at the novak race, but they too did have the flour. yellow wheels in new packages in Milwaukee...

The black wheels are 28mm....so when you get a compound on a 28mm rim it will be black. Also the black rim is a little stiffer then the yellow one. TRC never offered 28mm until now and they are all on black rims.

Well, I beg to differ. I have some Plaid 28mm I bought like two weeks BEFORE I left for snowbirds and they are yellow. Lots of the tires they were selling at the trinity booth were 28mm and they were ALL yellow. If you went out to the truing table, you could see where people cut them back down to either 26 or 27 mm.

The 30 Pairs I bought from the Trinity Booth are all 28mm and Yellow.

My friend has the black wheels and he said they were for team drivers.
