2010 Snowbird Nationals
Hello racers! Hope everyone has a great 4th of July holiday weekend. We have finalized details for the 2010 Snowbirds, and everything is official now for the upcoming 16th event. Check out the promo video on the race site playing now: http://www.snowbirdnationals.com.
Race Date: January 26th-31st, 2010 (5th weekend of January) Race Place: Radisson Resort, Orlando, Florida Call: 407-396-1400 for room reservations More information is on the site now, and there will be a new race site in the coming months for the upcoming 2010 event. Rules and classes will be announced around October, and the entry form comes out in November. Carpet oval and carpet road racing inside the Radisson Resort - with a super smooth temporary track - with no local advantage - and racing classes for all! RC Thunder any idea on a release date for classes. Hate to get rooms and then not run the clases I'm interested in. I have to run them slow old man classes.:)

This is very exciting to me as Mike Rooney and his crew have been covering the Snowbirds each year have have been here through it all.

Welcome home Dave Fox!
The Snowbird's are filled with rich tradition. Part of the great history that comes with the 'birds is the experienced and dedicated crew that shares in the race experience with you, the racer. We are extremely excited to announce the return of Dave 'Foxdaddy' Fox to the on-road lineup along Sam Ledford on the floor and Jim Smith in tech. Dave announced the first carpet race at the old Radisson and has been here to see the Snowbirds grow into the spectacle it is today. Last year Dave unfortunately had to miss because of work, but this year will be back to call the racing action! Welcome back Dave! A huge thanks goes out again to Ruben Benitez, as he came to the rescue last year and did a great job being part of the crew for us while Dave was stuck in China.

hey i was just wondering what kind of prizes they give out there i want to attend but i am not sure if i will be able i am just getting into rc racing so i go there i will get my but kicked but i really want to get kisse by those girls they are hot and also what are the classes for the birds in the oval part of it.:nod:
