Default Memories..

I just recently got back into R/C. Well racing anyways. I saw this thread and went to the snowbirds website. I saw the old '94 pics and WOW, I so remember those days at Tampa by the airport. Glad to see the snowbirds is still going strong..! If I am back in FL around Jan. perhaps I will take a drive to Orlando and check it out...

Hi guys, I put a post of the Snowbird's Facebook page regarding sharing a hotel room for the event and I thought I might as well put the same thing on here. Basically, just wanted to see if anyone would like to share a room, just to keep the costs down a little. I am a normal Brit bloke that does n't snore! Cheers! Chris.

Flights and hotel booked for a couple of first timer Canadians to make the trip. Sooooo looking forward to this event! Doesn't matter what the temps are in Orlando that time of year....they'll be better than a Western Canadian prairie winter

Default 68 DAYS!

That is AWESOME Buddha! First timers ROCK and this year seems to be a record for 1st timers letting me know they are coming. Orlando should hit mid-70s a few days. Don't laugh if you see the Thunder Racing Crew in jackets if it gets 60 haha.

I am very happy to announce the Epic/Trinity have returned as title sponsors of the Snowbirds, along with Intellect. Since the 'birds debuted in Orlando on carpet back in 2001, EPIC/Trinity have been the events title sponsors, and we can't thank them enough for all their support they bring to RC racing, and to the race itself. In fact, Trinity has been a part of the Snowbirds every year since it's beginning back in 1995! Look for the whole Trinity/EPIC team here in attandence this January, including multi-Snowbird champion Paul Lemieux, competing against the World's best. They will also be here providing racers service and full technical support trackside during the Snowbirds race week. Make sure to stop by the Trinity/EPIC/IP booth and say hi to the team and of course, Ernie Provetti himself.

I am sending the entry form to XTREME RC CARS and it should hit the shelves in about 2 weeks - that is when we will time the on-line entry opening. Check our web daily as I update news and notes every day. Also will have the date for entry forms on-line soon.

I just got back from the movie 'Carpet Racers' in NYC - what an EVENT. The movie is incredible, you have to see it racers. Most the stars of the movie will be at the 2010 'birds. Also working on a special screening maybe at the race... stay tuned.

So much good stuff coming and is planned. Don't forget to be here Monday night for a poolside party with a live band playing for everyone. We will work check-in under the tiki huts that night... haha cool!

The website is being updated the next few days to include all our great sponsors. This year we have a record turnout of sponsors coming and bringing something to the show. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR SUPPORT!

Please scroll down the Facebook fan page on the race site with all the exciting news surrounding 2010's event. Things such as:

RC Racing TV is coming for the UK to cover this year
Dave Fox returning from China to announce
Custom championship rings available to Class winners this year
Discounted theme park tickets and show tickets
Much 'Much More'!!!

I don't get on the boards too much.... but am always available via email:

CYA racers!
