If there are more guys in 13.5 like there is.....why not make the class with less entries merge with the class that has more entries? I fail to see the reason to bring the larger class into the smaller class for reasons other than making the smaller class larger. If more guys are acclimated with 13.5 speeds why not make the 4 mod guys join the 25 or so 13.5 guys? This battle seems easier to fight than the one you are raging on the internet.
Agreed two classes....13.5 and 21.5 leave the ESC's and everything else alone

Yes the speed of the cars in the two classes is almost the same. But why do you want the majority of racers to join the mod class instead of having the minority join the majority in the 13.5 class? I still fail to see the rational that you are using other than just saying "go to mod". If mod was the answer there would be more people running that class than there already are. It’s not the case mod doesn’t appear to be the answer so why not have the few racers running mod still race in the 13.5 class where the majority of racers are racing? Give me a reason as to why going to mod is better for racing? What if we called the 13.5 class….. Mod……but placed a 13.5 motor limit on it would that soothe your need for everyone to run mod? I just don’t get the rational to force the majority to conform to the minority.

When I first got in racing about 15 years ago there was only a stock and modified classes. Stock was for the new guys and after 3 or 4 years they would eventually move up to mod. But when you first move up to the modified class you would get your butt handed to you by guys like Rick H, BK, Mark P, and you really had to work to get closer to their level. To me personally it seems as if people don't want to take that beating by jumping in the modified class and letting the newer guys run in the 13.5 type classes. I don't think moving everyone in one class is the answer but I can see how you would come to that conclusion (to get the most entries in one class). No harm intended.
