Personal lap timer?
In motorcycle racing I can have a transponder on my bike and a personal recorder track side that will automatically catch my signal as I go and store my lap times for me for review later.
I have a personal transponder on my 1/12th cars... does anyone make a "personal station" device that can be put trackside that will work with my transponder so I can record my lap times accurately for later review when I'm practicing? |
team orion does
i think the website is http://www.teamorion.com the unit will not work with your transponders but provides its own what kind of motorcycles? |
Your track should be able to set up their software to record your laptimes while you are practicing, and print them out when you're done.
Orion also makes lap counting thing (I don't know the correct term) but you won't be able to use your personal transponder with it, I don't think. Orion Pro LCS Josh |
thanks for the info.. not much info about it on their website though :(
Anyone know of a review of the product somewhere? Sure would be nice to have one that worked with my existing personal transponder. It sucks having to throw that extra one into the car (1/12th doesn't have much room). |
