Hi all,
For the next 5 days, we will be bringing you "live" coverage of the 2004 Novak US Touring Car Championships, from S&N Trackside Hobbies in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This race features some of the best of the best in the US, as well as the first time that brushless motors have been used at a major event.
The entry list is posted here:
http://www.trackside.com/040111Entry.htm
We will have round-by-round results posted here and on our official coverage page (should be up tomorrow night). There will also be coverage on Trackside's website (link is above) and possibly in other places.
But of course, we think we're the best.
Here's the schedule:
Wednesday: Open Practice
Thursday: Controlled Practice
Friday: 2 x Qualifying
Saturday: 2 x Qualifying
Sunday: AAA Mains & Awards
The R/C Tech Coverage:

Any questions, please post here.
Enjoy!

If you can, I would love to see some pics of the Losi cars. Especially matt francis, hodge, and kinwald. Supposedly they are testing some new stuff.(cvds, new belt, new belt pulley system, and some other stuff)
I would also like to see Matt's 5th body post system.
Thanks man.
Later EddieO

I'm back from Trackside, and will post a couple pictures of the track layout once my laptop decides to start working again. It's something about having a "critical memory dump error" sitting on the screen all day that it didn't like...
They layout was tighter compared to the normal trackside layouts. If you've been to S&N Trackside before, the "islands" are now gone in favor of a new board system.
The brushless cars seem to be doing fairly well for the amount of speed they have, while still being on rubber tires.
I'm not sure what Futureal will have to post tonight, but I guess the hotel is having internet problems after some big storm ( I guess they call about 4-5" of snow a "big storm" now, thanks to the rather warm winter we've had until now ). Hopefully the hotel has that sorted out for him..
Eddie - I saw Todd's car, and they are running a new setup on the CVD's. The slots in the outdrives are larger, and the CVD's have ball bearings on the pins that ride in the outdrive. I didn't get a chance to take a close look at Kinwalds car.

A shot down "pit lane" at trackside.
This will easily be twice as packed later this weekend, as not everyone showed up for today's open practice, and since it was taken as the track was closing down.
As they say, "You don't have to go home, but you cant stay here"
