are there really that many tc3's, or are you just bias, or just having trouble getting all the pics you want? Great pics though, i never new soooo many people used fukus. BTW, are people pitting in the hallway around the dirttrack, though the graphics guy was? It would be a good idea.

pro3racer

most people are in the normal pit area. there are also pitspaces in the upstairs area of the Trackside.

i think the xxxsg+ and tc3's are pretty split. it's probably just a matter of what i was able to take pics of. when i had my camera out i didn't want to be to intrusive while guys were working on their cars so i just snapped pics of what i could.

walking around all the pit areas i did see many people who ran fukuyama racing cells. i spoke with a few of them and they were very impressed and happy with their performance. Trackside Raceway is also now stocks Fukuyama cells...I peeked in the hobby shop and saw a bunch of 1.17+s.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

WVRACER
that was a funny pic...he just turned around real quick right before he was going up the stand to run a practice session.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

i'll try and reach my friend later to find out more results....or i think someone will probably post the full results of qualifier 1 and 2.

pro3racer....I am not sure where you race but at the carpet tracks that I have been to around here I would say that 75% of the people run tc3's. That may even be an undserstatement! I am sure that number changes out west because there is more outdoor racing done but on carpet that has proven to be the car to have. I hate to admit it because I hate my tc3 compared to my Xray

trcmaddness.

sorry that was only my one day event coverage. can't make it back out for the weekend....wife's bday and she's not that big a fan of r/c racing

what i did notice is that a ton of people are now using the new KO Helios pistol. in the past i would say the M8 dominated the drivers stand but now with the new KO it's evening out if not tipping the scales.

just got a call from my buddy at the track...

- still looks like tosolini and cyrul are the mod fast guys...they are still wrapping up some heats so we should know more info soon.

- traction is ridiculous at the track....seems like even stock/rubber tire guys are traction rolling and having to go with stiffer set-up then usual for carpet/stock/rubber tires.

- monster stock or binary stock....looks like it's still pretty split between the two motors. some guys feel the monster has a bit more rip in the infield but the binary has an edge on the straights.
