My friend and I noticied a slight problem this weekend with our Helios radios ( noticied mine first adn the he checked his and it was the same). It seems that when I went to adjust steering balance when I would turn the wheel to the left so I could adjust it I could not get the "*" that should show up next to the "left" adjustment showing it can be adjusted. It appears that the drop/tilt wheel attachment may not be exactly molded right for it to allow the proper travel. A slight amount of plastic had to be removed from the wheel stop. Has anyone else had this problem. I also suppose it could have been the wheel molded wrong but either way that is a problem in manufacturing that needs to be looked into.

you jut need to go into the vr adjustments and re-calibrate. I beleive that the recommendation is to do that every few months or so

Yeah I saw that but also saw it recommended it could mess the radio up and would have to send it in for service. I will look at it though. Thanks theisgroup!

go into your MASTER menu... and then go to ADJUST VR

it'll say No/Yes. select YES - hit Enter

the first set of VR is for steering. turn the wheel to the left (you'll see the setting change) then hit enter. turn it right and hit enter. netural.. hit enter

next is throttle
pull on the trigger. then hit enter. hit the brakes.. then enter. then at neutral hit enter.
it will flash COMPLETE. and your set.

VR - I think it stands for variable resistor. I think what you are doing when you are resetting the vr setting is adjusting the pots of the variable resistor.
