why make the Helios lighter? Is it really heavy out of the box compared to 3Pk or M8?

Daniz; I suposse you have already test, Did you have any interference, or radio over heatting? I mean normally we use 9.6V and now you are using 10.2V. I think this is very interesting.

Thank you

8 alkalines equals 12 volts so I don't think there would be problem with 10.2

This question has probably already been asked, but is there a high quality carrying bag for the controller available? Any company?

Team Magic bag fits the Helios perfectly, even with the wheel extension fully swiveled out. I think it's Sportwerks that just came with identical bag but in blue.
The big Futaba (Black-red) does also accept the Helios well.

I got it from hobby shop in Singapore, I think we can also build them personally if we know the spec. Yes, I need special charger too. Since I don't have a receiver battery charger for my GP cars, I bought Schulze Chameleon for charging them and Li-Poli cells. You get all in one in one charger.

No interference, but dunno about over heating. After full charge, the voltage is 12.6 and so far there is no problem.

No, the Helios is lighter than both of them. But even lighter is definitely more acceptable I think this is very useful for GP racing, since most of the A mains are 45 minutes to 1 hour race.

I'm using speedmind Tx bag for Helios. It perfectly fit with foams inside and a nice carbon fibre looks on the outside

Is there a website for the Team Magic bag?

Nope but you can order them through www.speedtechrc.com
That is were I bought my Team Magic pit Tote and the Radio bag.
Yes it fits the Helios perfect even with the wheel extension. I think that the Bags are both top notch and many people aat my track are getting them. Speedtech has a pretty good write up on them. If you are out of the US then try Rc-Mushroom I believe they have them also.
Hope this helps,
Thanks,
Stephen <><
