Took it apart and moved it around, it's a little better. I'm going to try and cut the spring shorter later for a little more tension. Thanks for the help guys.

I can't believe I bought 2 radios for my daughter and I, to run cars and boats and 3rd channel is about useless. We use 3rd for fuel mixture control "boats". $120 Futaba systems can do it how did this get lost. I expected the BEST money can buy.I never even expected it would be an issue

Hi. It's been a while since I had a look at radios and I am just getting back into racing. I have a 27mhz EX-10 Helios and I was having some trouble finding places to buy new 27mhz KR-302F recievers. Another alternative could be the Spektrum DSM Pro 3CH Surface System. Whats the difference in feel and response between the two?

When using the Helios for 1/10th electric touring car, what are the most commonly changed functions on the radio?

Steering dual rate?
Steering/throttle curve?

I've gone through the manual but would like to know what more experienced drivers are changing on their radios.
