Ok thanks kopropo staff, Another question, Would it be possible to use a 27mhz module and receiver from a mars r radio in a normally 75mhz helios? Like if u take out the module can you use whatever mhz you want or does it have to be the one that it came with?

Thanks again....

The mars module fits but not recommended to use in the helios. The reason is because the helios module has a higher output then the mars, thus you would lose range.

The recevier you can use, but will have to change the response mode in the radio according to the receiver that you are using.

Hey guys, quick question. Is there a synthesized 27mhz module available for the Helios? I'm looking into getting one but I have 4 Novak Xxtra receivers and don't really want to have to replace all my receivers and buy a bunch of crystals if I can help it.

You might be able to use the JR z-1 module. I'm not sure though....

Robert? Wanna chime in here? I really like the feel of this radio but can't justify the added cost of crystals if I can't go synthesized.

sorry to bother you guys, but is it confirmed that the Spektrum Ko Module only works in the Helios and not the Mars R?

Thanks

I would see no reason why you could not use the synthesized module from the Z1 in the Helios. They are the same radio, just with different name on them.

Hey Jon......

The synth from what I was told is only in 75FM....Someone can correct me but I believe I am right...

THere is no Synth module for 27 that I have ever seen...

There is a Mini Z module that is 27 but you need crystals...
Hope that helps,
-SHookie <><

The Shookie is right. The JR Z-1 is only 75 fm. It is however a direct replacement into the Helios.
