would be cool, but i would think hard to implement. launch control on full scale cars basically runs the revs of the engine up until a certain point and then drops the clutch. also most implementations of launch control also has some form of tracktion controls. if not, you would just get wheel spin.

The autostart is just a function that pumps out max throttle the first time you touch the trigger, then when you release it the throttle is like normal.

Ray-

We just received word (Wednesday) that they will not arrive until mid-late april. There was a delay in gear production.

Hello. Hope someone can help. Does the helios have a "key-lock" function?

Thanks.

Is it "mid-late april" yet? JK. Can't wait to get one.

hey all How is it going? I am planning on purchasing a helios soon. But i just had a few questions. Does the helios have and Display-only mode, so that I would be able to make changes to my car w/o having to remove the crystal in the pits(I know there is direct servo control but would be a hassle again in the pits), also is there an idle up function? Finally does anyone find that the display is a tad on the small side?

thanks Jason

Ok, i have a problem, i went to switch my receiver antenna because the original one ripped in half, and while soldering the old one off, the silver track that the wire sticks to on the circuit board or whatever its called came off and dissapeared and so now i have nothing to solder the wire to. I tried using a hot glue gun and just gluing it to the spot where it came off, but when i got my car outside and turned on, i can walk away from my car about 5-10 feet and it will start glitching, the servos twitch by themselves and at that point i have no control over the car. Can anyone suggest a way to get the antenna back on to keep it from glitching so i dont have to buy a new receiver because they are rather expensive.

Any help is much appreciated....

The silver track you described is the trace for the PC board. If that is missing, the antenna will not stay. Sounds like you will need to get a new receiver unless I can fix it. You can send it in and see if I can create a new trace by jumpering it.
