So, does anyone has the module heating up problem? Can KO Propo address this question?

Thanks for the answer.

Now, does anyone know where I can get this steering wheel? Reason is that I used it for 2 seasons and it was smaller in diameter to all the stock KO wheel and I felt more comfortable w/ it. I got it in Hong Kong several years ago for about $8 USD, however I sold my 2000R last year (long story why I sold my radio), and now I'm itching to get that steering wheel back.

The powers steering wheels (the ones that look like Momo wheels) are smaller than the KO wheels. Thats what I had on my Mars R and liked it alot. Wish I had kept it.

Default helios display

Hey all. for all of you that own the Helios, I was wondering if you think that the display screen is to small and makes it difficult to read the sreen?

No not at all. Alot better than their previous radios. Keep in mind the bigger the screen, the bigger and heavier the radio, thats makes it uncomfortable.

litespeed-dom,
The module getting hot is normal. I would suggest pulling out the antenna to help dissipate the heat. This is true for all of our radios that come with modules.

Dom,

When you get a chance, can you let me know why you decided to sell your Mars 2000R? You can PM me...

BTW, your new radio looks really good. It makes me want to get one for myself soon...

Take care.

John

my apologies if somewhere in the previous 150 posts this has been asked:

1. is there a synth module coming out for this radio (if so who is working on it, and when is it scheduled for release).

2. will this radio work with the novak synth receivers?

my trusty m8 is getting a bit raggedy around the edges, and if i'm going to thrown down a few hundred bones for a radio, i'll probably buy a different model. thx in advance.

gee-dub, I also asked about a synth module for the Helios. KO is not working one. I don't know of any other.

You can use it with the Novak synthesized receiver, but only in normal mode (not AHRS).
