Thats odd, my 2400 seem alot smaller than my 3000HV cells. Well the 3000HV does have shrink wrap on them, so that might be it.

You can fit Sanyo 2400 and 3000 mah cells on KX1 with a little file on the front holding tabs of the main chassis.

On my KX-1, the battery "hole" is too big for 2400s. Here is what i do. put 1.5~2mm of spacer on top of battery against the chassis and about 1mm on each sides of battery holder to keep the battery from moving left, right, up and down.

why isn't this on the kyosho thread? it's been so dead. i finally got a diff up front. the car has three packs through it. it was a blast. the cornerspeed is outrageous. i have to tweak the layout yet. it's a little right heavy, but i'll figure it out. btw - a transponder weighs...28 grams? i've heard 20 grams and one ounce. which is correct? let's revive that thread. anyone run without the sway bars? sorry, just excited to see some action with the kxone. later fellas.
