Default NEED HELP ON SUSPENTION SET UP

hello everyone, i just installed oil filled adjustable shocks with adjustable spring rate on my hpi e10 that came with plastic suspension. my question is how Do i know that i have the suspension set up correctly, height is not an issue but im kinda lost on the spring set up (like too hard or too soft on the springs??) i noticed that with the old plastic suspension i could make the car go sideways( does that mean that the suspension was too hard?) and now that i have the new oil filled ones it seems to stick to the ground and i cant get this thing to spin out or go sideways which is good and i think it will make the car take the turns faster if i race in the track.( should i leave this set up alone ??) someone suggested that i should harden the spring in the rear just a little.. is this good? can someone please help direct me to the right direction to set up this suspension. thanks
