They are not interchange.
HPI wheel hex is 12mm and Tamiya is 14mm.
The F10 with HPI103023 front knuckle arm is able to use the Tamiya F103/104 front wheel.

Being this is a thread for both vehicles. Has anyone fit a 1S LiPo in either of these vehicles?

WHat do you guys think
Forget the cells go Lipo , they both can use them. The F104 can use any 2s Lipo that has at least a rounded bottom and the F10 can to depending on which body you use (16C ; wide body or 14C narrower body) or if you use the Exotek chassis and buy the battery conversion you can use 1800Mah 30C 1/18th battery , more than enough for a 540 "J" motor and it makes the car lighter than a F103.

I got my first big race in the F1 class this last weekend....I have a F10 but ran a F1-09 ... I got to say the big difference is the tires. The one with the pan car tires will win. they just carry more corner speed. I think I'm getting an Alpha...

Im wondering this too, since both would be about the same cost what would be the better setup?

I've run both and both ARE fantastic in their own right, but I'm a bit more partial to the F104 link setup, ONLY because it is a link setup and one of new design.

I was actually faster with the HPI setup but I ran that kind of setup a lot longer so it was easier and faster for me to get a great setup.

I truly think after running both cars with the Exotek setup you wont go wrong with either, it's more of your budget and ease of obtaining parts
