Magnum vs MegaTech

After trying one out at my track I have recently fallen in love with the Futaba 3PK.

I've been watching for used ones in various places, most of what I've seen go by are the MegaTech ones.

It seems that the international version is the MegaTech while the American version is the Magnum. Is there a difference between them? Are the functionally identical with a different label on the box?

Should I strongly prefer one over the other?

They are identical...just a marketing thing...

US gets the Magnum version and everyone else the Megatech.
Just beware that Futaba USA will not honor the warrantee if you have the overseas Megatech version. You will have to pay for service and parts. The US version aslo comes with nicds and charger but no servos... some Megatech versions do come with the S9451 digital servos.
