Default Fastest R/C cars in the world in Popular Science

A great article has been posted on the Popular Science website looking at my X2, Nic's Mi3, Jack Cecil's 4-tec, and Gary's 4 engine car. Check it out here.

How many of those speed runs have been independently verified?

And it really frustrates me when mainstream magazines call them "remote" controlled when we race "radio" controlled cars.

Plus there is some pretty unscientific language for a science magazine - "Cecil tightened the suspension" - what does that mean?

Im not sure if you mean a 3rd party timing group has verified the speed? Nic did the 161mph at an official ISC event.

It was funny getting the interview done for this article. Most people have no idea what these cars are capable of doing. I agree, they were pretty vague with some of the details.

From what it looks like, Cecil is a driver and they were basically trying to say that he has no suspension or it was just stiff to not bottom the car out.
