Default Help on tunning for 19t Class

I have a Hot Bodies Cyclone TC that i'm preparing to race here in Puerto Rico in the 19t class. I still have some trouble making my mind on buying lipo's or cell bateries. I'll don't like to spend a fortune, just like the car to be competitive at this level. Any recomendations on what batteries to buy and where to buy them ?

I'll appreciate all your help

if your charger does lipo, defiantly go lipo. With Nimh batteries you really need 3-4 packs for a race meet, where with lipo you can get away with one, or two which is a little bit easier (racing with one, while the other one charges). They also have a longer usable life and require pretty much no maintenance. Personally i would go for one of SMC's 40C series, But you can't go wrong with most well known brands on the ROAR approved lipo list.

Roar approval list. (for racing must get a battery on this list, or approved batteries in your country)
