Why the huge hole in the spur gear ?
Hi!

The Gear Diff is from Tamiya (I mean, Tamiya TA-05 .. but Spec-R works aswell. In Front a Tamiya Diff Pulley for the Spool.

The spur gear mount is a modified version from sakura zero, you need the complete center layshaft with bearings, spur gear mount and pulleys and then you have to shim that with some spacers, 2-3mm on each side.

as im thinking right, marc said me you need other belts for this mod, too.

the biggest advantage is that its no big action to insert or change tamiya diff & spools etc, no big modifications need for that.

Why was Marc using the 09 chassis and bulkheads and not the 2010 prototype chassis

Hi!

Because someone finished his prototype (some parts broken), but the 2011 prototype is sure the prefered car and i'll hope this car is soon available for all of us

But the 09er Phi runs very well, too .. espacially on warm conditions with high grip, its a weapon.

the weather conditions wasn't very stable, otherwise, marc was able to drive into the A-Final without problems. Too much traffic, too much weather chagings and espacially grip changings had make that a bit difficult.

but interesting to see - how good the old good phi is working And all can see, Marc used here corally wishbones. No need for Tamiya Wishbones to be fast

I been using the narrow chassis for a while now in Touring Modified and it is very good. Gives lots of grip and is very fast in corners. I find it gives a bit extra grip in Modified, but can't comment on the other classes, although I expect it is great there too!!

Have you tried calling them? When I've needed something calling worked better than e-mails with them. Hope it works out for you.
