Here is a picture of Marc's car from the DHI cup with the new arms and sway bars up front/rear. He is doing well considering the airline lost all his luggage and all he had in his carry on was his car and radio. Hope the pictures help.

Are those Tamiya CVD's on the front of his car?

I'll post up some pics in the next day or 2, I mounted the old assasin rear bar on the front so that I did not have to remove the front carbon plate, on marc's car he is using the tamiya bars. I used the copper bar in front due to the new leverage points now not like the old arms use to be.

I've got my 09 lipo spec and I've got it all set up.
My problem is that the weight diagonally is out.
The left front and right rear are about the same but are much lighter that the front right and left rear. Is this normal? and how can I fix it if it needs to be?

Yeah I've got them all, but I don't need one of the 30gm ones so I took it out of the front. Any other ideas? it is about right side to side but I just think it's odd that it's so far off. I've been using mini scales to measure all 4 corners. I've loosened the springs right off, and also a friend with the same car has the same weight imbalance.

you need to use a small servo also. a full sized servo will weight alot more. also add weight all around the car till you get close car should weight between 1470-1510 grams to get the car weight at all 4 corners equal. jeremy

hi thomas

either the kopropo 2413 or the futaba s9551 both are low profile...
yeah forgot so say too had to add weight on each side to balance the car correctly....

i have standard eu kit with 100gm added to battery strap and 15gm in front of the battery to even it up...also have 1 25gm corally weight in one of the slots....

regards
David

not yet getting them installed right now and test/race if time allows me to. if not sunday will be the first time on the arms.... i am putting the shocks in front of the shock tower but looks like 20mm spacers will be about correct to make angles stright up and down with the long shock bottom studs... with shoert shock bottom studs about 15mm spacers. a peice of aluminum hollow tubing from menards or home depot is what i used at first then change things back. here are a couple quick pics.. jeremy

Got the new arms on last week and ran the cars this last weekend at Round #3 of the NWIC. Richard St. Cyr took the win and almost TQ'd 13.5 Rubber. cars are awesome. Went to a longer wheel base to help get the balance right, used the shorter camber link mounts off the RDX in the rear, to straighten them out, also running the small pulleys 1.71 which helps line up the rear diff.

Great car transitions quickly, great steering, still very tough, holds a setup/tweak, and is smooth as silk. On my way to the Birds with an all freshened up ride.
