Hi Guys,

I have my Phi '09 on order, looking to race mod competitively.

Has anyone tried the Pro Red series brushless motors from corally?

Cheers

I ran their original red series (non senored) stock motors. They're powerband is awesome.
A friend of mine runs their mods and same thing, much power over the low and midrange which results in very fast motors.

if you were running the mohawk 2 then yes it makes the car get up on the nose and makes the car turn really hard in high bite it can be too much. i prefere the protoform r9f car carries more corner speed and very easy to drive

Jeremy - it says mid for the rear wheelbase so where do I put the hinge pin blocks - short or long wheelbase. Also for the rear upright where do I put the ball studs - in or out? And another question since I'll be using a one-way what should I do differently from your set up? See I told you I'd be bugging you.

They are awsome, even faster then the X-BP series - witch also has plenty of power

for the wheel base it is the shims (white ones) that are 1 in front and 1 in the rear between the blocks. put the arm mounts (blocks) where they state in the book.

rear upright ball stud on the inner hole.

setup work very weel with one way and spool. with spool you just need a little more turn in for the corners. pm me is you have questions a i will send my cell # if that would be easier. jeremy

I looked on Corally USA's site and there doesn't seem to be any setups for the 09.
