If you are racing modified, Speedpassion or LRP or Nosram are the only ones to go, all the others will 100%thermal.

Yes, you are right, smaller FET amperes inside tekin also doesn't win the race either. Maybe the fet will burnt out faster than KO or Vortex

KO propo and Team Orion also have good customer services too. Perhaps you just don't know yet.

He was laughing at you saying those ESCs are the same and as said numbers don't win races

That LRP specs is not correct that is burst current !
The specs they provide must be a typo.
To have that much amps and still be limited to not running a 2.5 on 6 cell doesnt make sense.
The KO needs a heatsink and fan to run a 2.5 yet its rated for 3120amps burst, surely that would make it efficient enough to run the hotter motors !?!?!?!?

SP GT 2.0 is rated for 200amps continuos and 800amps burst and doesnt need anything extra to run a 2.5.
That makes me think the LRP and KO are not efficient esc's.

Or these companies rate the products differently.

nevermind with SXX TC ..... (btw, you are right, 764 max amp per phase )

STILL .... KO propo BMC has the highest continuous amp rating, is the most expensive esc ( $235 + $17 cooling unit ), and the best ESC in the market today.

KO propo brand don't typo error. 3120A is FET rating according to FET manufacturer's spec.

( 3120 amps maybe for 1 second, hahaha.... marketing tricks)

I was laughing because those number are completely unreal. I know of people who race boats and how they struggle to find controllers capable of sustaining 100amps. You can't believe what the manufactures print on their websites.

Even though I'm a fan of the tekin for spec racing, I have to agree they are prone to overheating in mod. Its even been confirmed by tekin on their thread.

I was never trying to upset anyone.

I do know actually, I race w/ an Orion dealer, and yes his speedo was fast, for about a month, now it's not, as it is on a ups truck back to Orion. I own four Tekin esc's and have never had a issue with any of them. I have seen quite a few orange ones go up in smoke also. I am just offering an "opinion" not stating company "stats". You know as well as I do that a company can boast about it's numbers all they want, but its the results on the track that really matter. For instance, look at lipo's and their "C" rating, some are only 20c, others are 35c. I cant tell the diff between the two, can you?
