Default "REEDY RACE 2009"

So is the 2009 REEDY RACE going back to Speedworld Raceway, or I heard a rumor that it was going back to the Tamiya track???

Anyone at Associated/Reedy know??

I'm sure people would like to know so plans can be made, I would like to see a FULL turn out this year.

My vote is for "Speedworld Raceway" again.

My vote is for speedworld or tamiya, there both awesome facilities in the country. I had talk to Billy on Thursday and he said it’s up to Associated on the decision and what ever work best for the race and the racer was fine by him. The turnout had nothing to do were the race was at last year, it was the failure on the promoting part of Scotty productions. Let’s not wait this year, let’s get it on….speedworld did the best you can ask from any facility on a last minute notice to pull the race off. Good luck.

With 2008 being a notoriously tough year (low turnouts) for all types of large racing events around the country, I am just hoping that there WILL be a Reedy Race for 2009. Tamiya USA Track or Speedworld, I will be there.

I know there's a long tradition with the Reedy Race and the Tamiya track but how about some eastcoast love. My vote is 301 Raceway, home of the 2011 1/8th Onroad Worlds. It's a nitro track but has cutouts for electric but I've seen mod cars run there and they run great on the whole layout. And Chris Whitney runs a great facility.

When the Snowbirds or Indoor Championships comes out west we can talk about moving the Reedy race to the east.
