Default Re-Gluing Motor Magnets

I've got a Reedy Ti motor and one of the magnets came unglued. What should I use to glue it back, just CA?

Thanks

don't use CA......get some JB Weld(the orginal kind, available at ANY hardware store).....make sure you prep the can by cleaning it with some rubbing alcohol.

Hi Impreza,

Try to use epoxy. The kind you will find in your hardware stores. You dont have to get those with metallic fillings. The clear or semi tranparent epoxy will do fine.

Most important thing you need to remember is that the epoxy need to take high temperature and some shock.Other than that you will be fine.

Just remember what EddieO said...surface preparation is important.

Cheers...And Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.

One thing we have found is to put a bead of thin ca along the top of the magnets when you get a new can or motor. Havn't had a problem since! Walter
