Wow...Andy Moore started with some bad quals, and seemed like he was heading for the bottom of the B Main. But the last 2 qual rounds he really fought thru and ends up with TQ
Now he's doing even better in the Mains!!! Seems like he figured something out...what happened? How is his car suddenly so good and everyone else seems like they've stagnated? Not to take away anything from a great driver and World Champ like Andy, but it seems like everyone else hasn't found that "switch" Andy turned on before the Mains.
Any News on Grainger and the rest of the MI4 drivers?

not sure how chris and lee (both the Mi4 drivers in the main for mod) were getting on. just that they were struggling midfield.
not sure who had the Mi4 in prostock. certainly Mark Musgrove does.
i think andy's problem was mainly track time, due to all the around the world commitments he has, Andy practises on uk tracks less than any other top driver in the UK
its good to see him up front again where he should be.

It was raining on and off all day their. So the 15sec lap times were good laptimes in the dry and then when the track got wet the lap times went up alot. But the rain was drying up and coming down so that could of been a heat with just a damp track not nesscercelarly standing water.

Q1 was dry-ish, baring a greasy/wet track for heats 4-7
Q2 was completely dry
Q3 was also dry
Q4... rained in heat 5 (right before mine, grr)
Q5 stayed wet through out, lots of nice big puddles too!
Finals were intermitant wet dry affairs... lots of second guessing what it would be doing next today!

I'm currently uploading the eventfull 3rd Mod A-Final onto Youtube as I type this.
The only problem is the 'incidents' can't always be viewed very well from ground level.
Still, it's either than or nothing
I'll post a link once it's up.

The Saturday was very windy with a few 'pop up' gazebo's being destoyed, mine was being held up with duct tape and bungee cords.
The gusts could occasionaly unsettle the cars going into corners etc.
Sunday started off with blue sky's and no wind (7:30am), by 10am we had the high winds back a lots of rain!.
The track dried out surprisingly quickly but each of finals had people leaving the choice between wet or dry tyres, or for some of us wet car or dry car till the heat before as slight rain showers kept making the track greasy, then dry then greasy again..a total nightmare, but in the UK, if you want to beat the best you have to be able to adapt!
