Unhappy KO Propro Presto Q's - AND A PROBLEM !!!

I've just bought a KO Propro Presto. I'm very happy with it, however, I have a few questions.

I can't charge it with my peak charger. Are there a diode or something similar inside, I have to bypass?

Later, I'll plan on getting an additional Rx for an extra car. I would like to get a 4-channel, but KO dont make such things. What about the Hitec HFS-04MI+, have any of you guys tried it together with a KO Tx?

Ko Propo has extention channel set that lets you have 4 channels. It cost a lot less then a regular RX.

Was ist los?: I didn't knew there's different versions. It's with Rx / Tx only. Can there be any more difference, if so, how do I see it?It's around 237$ here in Europe/Denmark, which seems to be pretty good for my area - it's 2/3 of the Futaba 3PDF.

TRF-Powered: I'll check the price for that extra 2 channels unit. However, I prefer to spend the money on an extra reciever. But depending on price....

Do nobody knows about charging?

I wish I had an answer for you on charging, but I only use alkalines(Rayovak rechargeable alkalines, to be exact) in mine, so I've never looked into using the charging jack on it...as for the other question, if it's available there, you could try Novak's XXTra reciever, I believe it's a 5 channel one......

Default Presto versus Keil

My new KO Propro Presto EX-11 (RX=KR297FZ) seems to conflict with my Keil PS-4001 servo.

Symptoms: TX turned on. Turn on RX. Then the front wheels goes to the right and the system locks up. If I do it with the wheels OFF THE GROUND, there's no problem. It's only when I turn the RX on AND the car is grounded.

Other than that, there aint any single problem.

All the electronics is carefully mounted according to the respective manuals. The ESC is LRP v7.1. I've also tried different RX locations, no difference.

With my old Acoms AM there weren't these problems. If I switch the Keil servo to the Acoms servo, no problem.

The servo aint new, so I cant return it. Besides, I'm happy with it.

Now problem is, I really like that Presto, and I would hate to return it. Any suggestions, or do I simply have to choose another radio?

Default Presto versus Keil, part two

Presto versus Keil, part two

It doesn't seems like many uses the Keil servos, but if there should be any, here is the current status:

Was at my LHS yesterday. We changed the reciever, the crystal, even the transmitter. No difference. Then we changed back and afterwards tried another servo, which is equal. The problem got worse. Now I know that others use the KO/Keil combination, but with other Keil models.

My Keil PS-4001 is 3/4 years old, but my LHS promised we can make a good trade to a nother servo. Great support!

I wish I had an answer for that, but I honestly know nothing about Keil servos(I've heard of the name Keil, but I had no idea it was a brand name, I don't think it's sold in the U.S.).....
