Smile TAMIYA TRF415MS VS TRF415MSX VS TRF415MSXX

Hi guys, just want to know what the main differences are between these three models.

Can the parts from the TRF415 be used on the MS, MSX, and MSXX. Looking at getting a s/h one in great condition but have some questions relating to parts and if they cross over on the other models.

Any help or info would be appreciated or links to other similar posts requesting the same kind of information. Thanks in advance.

The MS and older are vastly different cars. The MSX thru MSXX-MRE-07 are all similar and almost all parts crossover. The parts that don't cross over are the lower chassis plates and steering bits. The MSX and later feature the modern reversible lightweight suspension. Even the later 416 suspension and short arms can be installed with the correct combo of blocks and driveshafts.

The MSXX-MRE-07 is currently $310 from TamiyaUSA and is the best deal around for a new car.

For a bit more detailed info, have a look at www.thard.co.uk/415 . I've got a few setups and tips for the 415's on there. There's also info on the 416 on the main site (see Try Hard!
)
