Do you have two or three vehicles? I only need one lipo per day for a vehicle. There is normally enough time between heats to recharge and with lipos you can charge them over and over again on the same day. I prefer Orion, Peak, and SMC. There are other good ones I am certain; but I have had great experience with these three types.

I prefer the SMC batteries over others. They have proven time and again that their batteries are some of the best available.

If you run modified, you should be looking to buy the highest capacity battery that will fit in your car, and one with a higher C rating for more available amperage. The more capacity a battery has, the flatter the voltage drop curve will be towards the end of the race.
