Brushless w/4 cell
anyone know if any of the other brushless motors (other than the novak) work with 4 cell?

Any brushless motor will WORK with 4 cells, but you need one with a good high Kv to make adequate rpm's and speed.

Well I'm not sure if the hacker works with 4 cells or if it would fit in your 1/12th but the 6t unit(with hacker's competition esc) is more powerful then the standard novak unit.
