Can anyone make me a high quality motor decal?
#1

I need it really good quality, much like the decals on team orion or other motors in that same type of material. I have a simple job of taking one decal and bassicly change the colors on it, the hue of colors and thats it and making it into a new decal for the original motor. Its for the Micro rs4, the team orion elite mod. Its decals is made up of blues, I want oranges and yellows.

can't print waterproof decals with an inkjet printer, you would need to apply a coat of transparent decal on it and it will look definately bad....
why do you want to do that are you a RC car Stylist, you should work for "Big E" or "Big O".....

Is it not the same thing as making the Pro 4 from HPI match with purple alloy hopups?
I'm just doing the same thing, but with a motor.

check your yellow pages for someone that does printing, ask if they can make sticker with an oil resitant cover. They probally will not make just one for you - you will probally need to order a sheet. Unless you order a lot - it may cost a pretty penny.
second idea - print what ever you like on regular label paper (that has a sticky side) - then use clear contact paper on top of it. This doesn't last as long as a professionally made sticker, might be cheaper
Hope that helps

There is something a little better than contact paper. I have used self-adhesive laminating sheets to protect ink jet labels.
The ones that I use are very high gloss and will give you some protection. Unfortunately, motor spray and other liquids can still attack the label from the bottom side. I forget what they cost, but they should be less than $1 per sheet. You can then use a normal ink jet label and get a bunch on a single page keeping the cost down.
