I have the same charger and 1 amp is the max. You would have to buy the Losi lipo converter to charge at higher amps.

The Cell Master CTX only charges LiPO at 1 amp maximum. There's no way to fix it, it's designed that way.

Probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but if you want to charge at a higher rate, the only solution is a different charger.

Tower Hobbies DOES list the 1 amp max LiPO charge for the Cell Master, and the manual mentions it, but the Much More website doesn't say anything about it... If someone were to base the purchase decision on the Much More website's description, they're not getting all the relevant info there.

1. Watch your language. Whats the point in swearing? It makes you look like a 12 year old newbie.

2. Charging LiPo packs at 1A is still charging the pack, hence, fine to advertise it. Sure, its not 1C, but doesn't harm the pack in any way.

3. Ask questions and read up about it before buying something in future.

I am pretty sure the charger which is old, was designed with Nimh batteries in mind. The Lipo charge is more for receiver or transmitter battery packs I think. Never was it intended to charge Lipo race packs.
