The Epic Duo... 2
New from Epic (aka trinity)
Does anybody have any information about it? is it replacing the pulse?
Has anybody seen it yet? What is different from it compared to the original duo?
(if there is allready a thread for it, then my bad.)

I don't know for sure but piecing together what I've learned from various conversations....
It will replace the Duo and Pulse, design should be an improved quality controlled Pulse with perhaps a few more tweaks to enhance performance. Likely would also have a new name to reflect the Epic name and to distant itself from the Pulse troubles.

Duo2 is misleading, more like a Pulse Rev4
Think about it, Trinity move and name change to Epic... sufficient issues with the Pulse and rumors that a MUCH improved version is in the works all would seem to equal a newly badged motor.

Its on our website!
They will not be replacing the new pulse, their will be a pulse 2.
The duo 2 will still be made by the same developers of the duo it will be a solid color so you cant cheat in the 17.5 class by changing ends! And will have fully adjustable timing unlike the original duos. Upgraded bearings magnets and rotors as well.
The New 40c lipo will look just like the past ip packs that we have, and should be pretty comparable if not better than others.
Both should be available mid june when we open up in Florida!

So what's really the difference than between the DUO2 and Pulse?
Why would one buy a Pulse over a DUO 2?

Thats a tough question to answer mainly because i haven't gotten a chance to run a either the pulse2 or duo2 yet. The only difference would be the build and or preference. The Duo2 will probably be a motor style that other company's develop as well, where as the pulse will be original to trinity development.
