Does price matter? Just get a T2Racer Pro kit. Nexus has them for $275. It can use all the hopups of the 009EU kit. Won't break your bank for VTA class.

Yeah, I have been looking the Tc's, lots on eBay, I had built a TC3FT and sold it so maybe a TC4 or 5 are there any big differences between the Tc4 and 5?

I've been using my Losi XXX-S that I've had since 2001. Matched with a Novak Havoc ESC and 21.5 motor it's plenty competitive. You have to remember - you're not talking about ridiculous speeds here so it's all driver skill. And the XXX-S was a full blown racer back in the day, so it has all the hop ups and tuning options you could want.

Don't spend a ton of money whatever you go with!

+1 and I'll tell you why. Won the novak TA race this year at Trackside (so it's more that capable). If you get the regular version with the body, don't glue the stock tires and get yourself hpi x-pattern tires and BAM! you have yourself a RCGT.

So there you have it. You can run two of the hottest class right now with just switching motor and tires. Or if you're running 27t just switching out batteries and tires.
