Reversible Suspension?

Hello all, new on here and just getting back into RC after best part of twenty years out. Picking up my new ta-05ifs tomorow and really cant wait to give it a blast!:)
My question is, what is reversible suspension and why is it good? I have the manual already for my car, but there is no explanation in there.
Like I say, been out of it for a long time so forgive me if it's a really dumb question.

Cheers, Jon

Reversible suspension means that there are two sets of mounting holes for all of the hardware, including droop screws, shocks, and swaybar studs. The shock mounting holes are offset from one side of the arm to the other. This gives you more options for shock mounting because the holes are closer together, the holes on the "reverse" side being in between the ones on the "normal" side.

3 shock mounts one side and 2 the other

so better adjustment of shock position

it is really obvious when you see them :)

Just to add something...

There are 2 versions of the reversible suspension, one being what you could call the long arm version since the arm is physically longer than the standard arm which your TA-05 will come with. Then thee's the more recently available short arm version where the arms are physically shorter than the standard arm which your TA-05 will come with.
