PRS or BMI, Both are excellent choices

For spurs, PRS or RW.

BMI makes pinions, not spurs.

PRS are fantastic.

I use PRS pinions and spurs. I also use Kimbrough spurs for the larger than 88T spurs. No issues with noise or power transfer. Spurs wear out after a few races so plan on replacing those after a few hours of use. If a pinion is worn out or has knicks it will make noise and wear out the spur quickly. Bad gear mess also leads to excess wear and noise.

Just use 48 pitch spurs and pinions if ur not racing at the highest level... they really last a hell of a long time...

In fact, I use them for racing too...:sneaky:

general Rule of thumb, As long as the pinion and spur Gears are from the Same MFG ou cant go wrong.

personaly i have always preferd Kimbrough or Yokomo( aka xenon)

I have tried just about every brand at one time or another, and used Kimbrough almost exclusively since racing gold-tub RC10's, but a few months ago I tried an XRay spur because it was the only brand available in my LHS in the size I needed...now I won't use anything else. It is the truest, roundest, most precise spur I have had experience with...I had to re-learn how to set proper gear mesh because they require so little backlash!

Kawada for both. I have used others but prefer these for quality.

I think you better check what bolt pattern you have/need. Some use six bolts some use eight (four). Kawada does eight.
