I m using 6mm high quality bullet connectors. My setting initially was the factory preset 1,4,1,1 then I changed it to 1,4,0,0 which suits my driving. FDR was at 8.7-9.0 (depend on which motor I m using ). Motor temp was around 75C for the SP and around 88C for the X11. I m running foam on asphalt technical with long straight outdoor track. The track (my country ) is in equatorial region with hot and humid tropical environment (30-38C). My car is TRF416WE. The SXX never cut off due to overheat, the highest temp that I encounter was 5 blinks.
Bump, Burito are you here?

Default lipo

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to drive Lipo with a SP 3,5t motor?
On the box is told that max is 3,5T on 7,2v but also for Lipo?

Should be fine. Im having no troubles using a Sp 4.0t. If it gets hot just use a fan on the motor.

I've got everything hooked up right, and have followed all directions.

When I try to set up the radio by holding the Set button for three seconds, it never goes into the setup mode where you set full throttle, brake, etc.

The unit seems to power up, fan comes on, blue LED comes on, I'm able to get into the power profile setup, but that's it.

Thanks!
Make sure the sensor wire is completely plugged in to both the esc and motor. Just my 2 cents.

So my brand new, out of the box SXX isn't working. The problem is:
Intermittently, my car won't go from a standing start. If someone bumps me, it'll go and work ok for an entire heat. But, if I stop...it won't go.

I've tried different sensor wires, different cars, different motors. I'm very disappointed. I'm going to pack it up, ship it on my dime, and hope I get a working one.

It's best that you send it back for repair.
