Default SXX TC Spec V2

Absolutely appreciate the SXX TC Spec in Mod racing, but am attempting to race a new 4WD 13.5 offraod class at our local track. I recently ordered and should be receiving the new SXX TC Spec V2 tomorrow, after researching the tunable data and speaking to Associated. Assumed this ESC was going to have "Feel" and "Boost" seperate settings and be competitive with Tekin RS ESC's as per the downladable instructions and advertised LRP Data. Just received an e-mail from LRP and they stated it does not have timing advance perameters???? Can anyone provide clarification if this ESC will perform comparable to the Tekin ESC's with "Feel" and "Boost" settings and be able to compete/provide as good performance for Stock racing? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

Also, the already released Version2 speedos (80905 + 80955) are not meant for stock racing, their profiles are designed for modified racing!

Hi all,

i would like to run a speed passion v2.0 5.5t with a sxx tc spec speedo.

I do not have a fan on the esc, could i run without it at a med size indoor carpet track, the straight is about 25m long? What fan do you recomend me to get if i have to order one?

LRP top drivers run the sxx tc with a 5.5t x12 motor in power profile # 1, min timing on the motor and with a 8.5:1 ratio at this track.

I heard the sp 5,5t v2.0 won't be an exact equivalent to a x12, am I then supposed to go with a different ratio or power profile # ?

Anyone running this ESC 1s with no rx pack or booster? I'm considering this ESC for this reason alone.

you need the version 2 to be able to do that, there is another thread about the tc spec version 2 if I am not mistaken. The version 1 doesn t have the booster incorporated.

This SC is several years old and it was designed for mod use so timing is very limited. Power profiles 5 and above will provide a small amount of timing.

There will be official news about this soon also, but so you hardcore racers know first...

There's an updated software (PC/Mac side) available on the LRP website: http://www.lrp.cc/en/service/software-update/

We're happy to be first (at least I believe so...) to offer such an updater software not just for Windows PC's but now for Mac/Apple computers also!

Be aware you need new speedo firmware files (ending with "*.lrp2") for the new V2.0.2 updater also.
But the firmware itself remained the same, so v1.5 is identical as before but new firmware for modified speedos is going to be released very shortly!

Reto,

I've seen that the 80999 Upgrade-Kit SXX - SXX Mod+Stock Speed-Control have a
different software than the last 4.0 SXX V2.
How can we compare these software ?

Sebastien.
