TA-05 ver.2

Very true. Planned to get a 416 for my next car after ver2 but since 416 wasnt release yet, i threw away all my money on hopups for ver2 instead. Guess i have to start from scratch to get my 416 now.

I just picked up the Tamiya 53866 TRF415MS Pro Module - Rear Suspension Set. My car had it originally, but was removed by the previous owner. All I really needed was 1 suspension arm - but TamiyaUSA wanted $40 for 1 arm so I bought the entire set for $70. I don't mind having extra parts anyways.

Whoa dude. It must have cost you alot. How come you didnt check on rcmart or rcmushroom? i find tamiyausa quite high on their prices

Ah thats what i thought. You could buy twice the amount of stuffs if you go through Tamiyausa. lol. Had to prep my V.2 again cos another drift race comin in 2 weeks time. Now there are 5 V.2 on our streets 4 drifting on our streets and only1 unit full-blown on TC.

Does anyone knows if there is a upperdeck built for the Ver2?
#652
There is no upperdeck available for any of the TA-05's

Welp I decided to get another TA05! Ordered up a V2 with upgrade pack and ordered over $500 in just hop ups alone! Yes call me crazy but it has to be FULLY hopped up even the genuine Tamiya titanium screws... LOL. Now I have to find time to put it together when it all comes in!

Anybody know the p/n for aluminium wheel hexes (clamping if tamiya makes them that way)? I couldn't find a reference to TA05 in any of the part descriptions I came across. Is there a parts list out there for hopups I can refer to in the future?
thanks

Yup, it's a chassis kit from 3Racing. But it's for the TA05-IFS and not the version 2...

Does anyone know the diff thrust bearing part number? Or does anyone knows which thrust bearing from another model that is the same or similar to it

Here's the Tamiya part number
9949300 Diff Thrust Bearing
This also works and uses ceramic balls
