Very true. Planned to get a 416 for my next car after ver2 but since 416 wasnt release yet, i threw away all my money on hopups for ver2 instead. Guess i have to start from scratch to get my 416 now.

I just picked up the Tamiya 53866 TRF415MS Pro Module - Rear Suspension Set. My car had it originally, but was removed by the previous owner. All I really needed was 1 suspension arm - but TamiyaUSA wanted $40 for 1 arm so I bought the entire set for $70. I don't mind having extra parts anyways.

lol I didn't buy it from TamiyaUSA. I bought the entire set from Ebay for $70 shipped. Half of what it retails for on TamiyaUSA. RC-Mart and Stella Models were both sold out.

Ah thats what i thought. You could buy twice the amount of stuffs if you go through Tamiyausa. lol. Had to prep my V.2 again cos another drift race comin in 2 weeks time. Now there are 5 V.2 on our streets 4 drifting on our streets and only1 unit full-blown on TC.

Anybody know the p/n for aluminium wheel hexes (clamping if tamiya makes them that way)? I couldn't find a reference to TA05 in any of the part descriptions I came across. Is there a parts list out there for hopups I can refer to in the future?

thanks

Saw this picture on a blog. Maybe the upperdeck comes with the CF chassis.

Yup, it's a chassis kit from 3Racing. But it's for the TA05-IFS and not the version 2...

Here's the Tamiya part number

9949300 Diff Thrust Bearing

This also works and uses ceramic balls
