Default HPI E10 RTR Runtime

looking to get the HPI E10 RTR kit for me and my 6yr old and was going to keep it stock until he gets the handle of it.

Was wondering how much run time I can get on the stock configuration and battery pack.

Also, whats the max battery I can put on it?
I was thinking of 3300mAH pack?

any suggestions welcome

TIA

In stock configuration with 3300mah battery just playing in the driveway. I would say 15-18minutes of run time. With a 4600mah battery maybe almost half an hour on a charge.

The E10 is fine for drifting or bashing in the driveway or modleing your favorite shell, but if you want to race, the car will be inadequate from the get go. A cyclone S is very economical and much more competitive.

If you go lipo you can get 5000 mah into that car but the battery will cost you more than the kit. I dont think I would ever modify an E10. Just move to a nicer chassis, when you are ready.

thats not bad of a runtime in stock configuration.

might pick up 2 or 3 3300mAH or maybe 2 4600mAH..see how the budget is

the car is really for my son to get to learn which is why I dont really care if its upgradeable or raceable

Ive been in the hobby for just about 10 years and will be getting myself something nicer down the line

Ive owned:

HPI Nitro RS4 RTR
RC10GT Factory Team
Nitro TC3

but sold them when he was born to help pay for moving costs lol

Ill probably be looking at another RC10GT or Losi ST or maybe a 1/8 buggy/truggy

Have you look into a Sprint 2 Sport? It's worth the money??

currently doing some research on it now

looks promising and has the adjustability and I found it for about $20 more than the E10

looking like a strong possibility now

the runtime of a stock E10 is just enough to realise you made a VERY bad mistake in buying it. It's not even durable like a TT01 is...

You're right about that, The TT-01 is more durable compare to the E10. Don't get me wrong it was my frist car and I still have it. But it dosen't come close to a sprint 2.
