Default best way to store gp3300s

im getting mixed opinons...

these are new team pack 3300 gps...

if I don't race for say a week, should I discharge then store them //
or leave them slightly charged for storage, then d/charge them about an hour prior to racing then charge...

i don't wanna ruin my new batteries...thanks!

HEY GLASSMAN I HOPE THIS HELPS

Ni-mh cells need to be stored with some charge in them about 30%(1000mah) if used every 2 weeks,
Little less if used more(about 800mah), or little more if not used that often (about 1200mah).

If in longer storage you should cycle (charge - discharge - partial charge) them every 4 weeks at least, but all ways store with some charge in them.
You should cycle them by either using them in a car or use a discharger & equalizer with cut off device

thanks shortyzz.

Currently been running then/d-charging them at the track and storing. They felt ok, but since they were new to me I didn't feel or know the difference.
Now was told to run them, store them. Come race day, d/charge them, cool em then charge em.

so I will try to store 1/2 the packs charged, and the other 1/2 d/charged...for only 1 week.
