Evil this is the greatest. One question, how do you get the updated car list or is it in the latest version?

Thanks, Sid

nice program, now if only i can hit those theoretical speeds
definately helps for finding what i need(speed), and saves time on 'guessing' spur and pinion gears.

Hey Sid you should already have the updated Car List in the previous version but if you haven't you can always download it from here and then in the program click Car Editor and then click Import existing Car List and select the downloaded Car List and then it will merge the new Car List with your Existing one.

Me too . Well once the PC version is completely finished (i have a feeling is almost is) i will start on the Mobile version. Just wondering are the Blackberry phones able to run applications for Windows Mobile??

Just one more thing i would like to add, what cars are missing in the Car List or what cars have you added to your Car List? Could you please post the new Cars and their Ratio and i will added them to an updated Car List for all to download.

Thanks for all the feedback and i am glad you guys enjoy it

Kind Regards
Adam

Glad you like it, are their any problems you have experienced?

Just wondering did the new updating system work on the program? Does it still ask you to update the Program or Car List once you have updated?

Kind Regards
Adam

All I did was install over the old program as it advised me of the new update right after I had installed it. Things seems to work ok and no it does not ask me about the car list.

Hey
Sorry the server that the files where hosted on went down today it's back up now.

Sorry for any inconvenience this caused we are working on these problems to try to ensure that it wont happen again.

On another note i am currently working on a Java Based version of the program so that pretty much all mobile phones that have Java on them can run ORC. Are there any suggestions that you would like to make to that??

Kind Regards
Adam

Hey guys,

I feel that that the computer based version of ORC is pretty much complete so i have started to move on to the mobile versions. I have started to design the interface for the mobile versions but seeing as this is my first application i have designed for a mobile device i would like some opinions on the design.

Design Option 1:

Design Option 2:

These are just initial ideas and i am sure that people can come up with better suggestions and ideas than mine so please i would love to hear them.

Kind Regards
Adam

Good stuff Adam. One question though. Would it be possible for you to show more sizes in the chart instead of just 5? Just a thought. This is a great thing. Thanks again, Sid

Also update works real easy. I probably already had it but added it again.

Java should work for most pda phones. Blackberry could run a windows program but windows devices always freeze and have problems that is why I have a bb! And I also like the first option of your two new phone layouts

Thanks for the feedback, i will look take a look at including more sizes or maybe a place where you can choose how many it shows.

For now i have a lot on my plate and to code the mobile version in Java will take a bit more time then i expected so for now i will just create the Windows Mobile version and work on the Java version when i get a chance.

Could everyone please review the two layouts that i have posted i could make a hybrid of the both e.g Tabs and the buttons if that would be better? Whats your opinion?

Kind Regards
Adam
